This is the best place I've ever been in Mysore at so low price Entry fees is 40 per Adult and 20 per child. Parking fees may vary from 20 to 40. The place is beautiful with many kinds of birds, plants and trees with their respective nomenclature. You can go boating, 90rs per head for 30 min, you'll be able to see the heart of the nature only when you go for boating, of course you'll understand when you visit there. It's a popular place for couples. Have a good time there! ?

A very big area in heart of the city and if you are a nature lover, it is a very good place to visit. Karanji Lake was on my cards during my Mysore Visit and I saw a lot of reviews quoting this place as a must-visit one. Greenery, Kids' Play area & Boating are simply superb. I spend a 2 hours of quality time enjoying my holidays with my family during my visit here. Be cautious about Monkeys in the Park. Use of plastics is discouraged here and they collect nominal fee for carrying them at entrance.

Good lush and green garden with tall tree. You will surely feel a connect with nature. The lake and it's boating was a great way to spend time with family. There is bird park that one need yo visit inside the park witb peacock and black swan roaming around and coming near to you that's a different experience all together. Also it has a child park for kids to play. Surely it's each penny paid here is worth for it's value. A must recommend place if you visit Mysore

The park itself is small but the highlight is the bird aviary which has the most beautiful peacocks inside and you will get an upclose look at their majestic beauty. A small children's play area and boating in the lake .Entry is 50, you can even go inside the zoo through the park by buying a combined ticket of 130rs for adults and 70 for kids. But be ready to walk and if you have elderly it might be too much for them at a stretch.

Worth spending some time with the nature and lake. Row boat and peddle boats are available. Quiet and peaceful. Got to see many birds, breath some fresh air and take evening walks. Need to pay parking fees and also extra camera charges. Bicycles are available for rent as well.
