I go for morning walk with my friends to this place where we take two or more rounds of the walking path. As we were set out from our hostel, we used to see this place deserted except for a few walker like us. You can easily walk in this place because no vehicle is not pass through this area, roads are clean and calm. and in the afternoon , many boys play football and cricket in fields, having in this area. I like this place for the quietness.

The programmes were mostly as in situ but sometimes had also been arranged as institution based, depending on the subject matter. The details of the subject matter discussed as well as the number of farmers attending the programmes are provided below. During the reporting period, 287 farmers attended such interface sessions, which were attended by 54 scientists.

Haringhata is a community development block that forms an administrative division in Kalyani subdivision of Nadia district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Haringhata CD Block is bounded by ChakdahaCD Block in the north and west, Bangaon and Gaighata CD Blocks, in North 24 Parganas district, in the east, Amdanga, Habra I and Habra II CD Blocks, in North 24 Parganas district, in the south.[1] Nadia district is mostly alluvial plains lying to the east of Hooghly River, locally known as Bhagirathi. The alluvial plains are cut across by such distributaries as Jalangi, Churni and Ichhamati. With these rivers getting silted up, floods are a recurring feature.[2] Haringhata CD Block has an area of 170.32 km2. It has 1 panchayat samity, 10 gram panchayats, 176 gram sansads (village councils), 87 mouzas and 82 inhabited villages. Haringhata police station serves this block.[3] Headquarters of this CD Block is at Subarnapur.[4]
