It's a Dam for all Manipur.this Dam holds the water which runs from all sides of Manipur.It holds the water of khuga river(tuitha river).it holds the water of loktak lake(the main and only water resource and fish resources of Manipur peoples).also it holds the water to produce electric power to supply all over India.

It's a bridge over Manipur river along with a Dam. Whenever I visit there I love to take a walk over the bridge, that moment you experience fear,beauty,excitement..altogether, its remarkable. The security system out there is uncompromising. You are not allow to take photograph on the bridge;20mph speed limit; you have to write your name,home address,destination,vehicle no. whenever you pass the bridge.

This DAM is one of the smallest but we'll function DAM... The surrounding of the DAM is well maintained by the army staying there... You have to get down from your vehicle while crossing the bridge...
