This place has been kept alive by some locals and they also maintaining it pretty well. Government must take some initiative to conserve it as it is a house of great poet of bengal as well as india. They are also gives education to poor childrens near them which is very good initiative. Very quite and beautiful place.

This is the house of famous Bengali writer Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay. He's clothes & his writing many books kept here. It is a nostalgia of every Bengali and those who read Bibitibhushans's storys.

The committee that has restored the house has done an outstanding job. They have done that without any government help from both WB govt and Jharkhand govt. They have tried to restore most of the essence of the renowned writer.
