Beautiful place to spend your evening time. Nowadays Nashik municipal corporation ignored the quality of water because they couldn't avoid polluted water from drenage and industry so it mixed there.

Good for long walks .Very pleasant in the mornings with the river streaming by, few people around, birds chirping , little abandoned puppies waiting for tidbits from generous walkers. People also come to throw their puja flowers. Some come to feed the fish which has some religious connotations. Wish the river would be cleaned regularly for there was a lot of rubbish at the edges which moved back and forth near the steps. Some lighting too could be provided to make it easier for people to walk in the evenings.
