Visited this place a few days back.
They have ample of seating arrangement.
The hygiene they have maintained here is quite impressive.
The interiors are simple yet elegant
.
Coming to the drinks, guava hit was my favorite. A bit spicy and citric in taste.
In starters we tried Kung Pao Chicken, Shanghai paneer and Pepper blast chicken. All of them were finger licking good ?.
The sauces used in kung pao chicken were amazing and gave it a mild sweet and spicy flavor. It was topped with fried cashews.
Shanghai paneer was mild spicy. The paneer cubes had a great texture on it. The paneer was soft and fresh.
Pepper blast chicken was basically different types of boneless chicken pieces wok fried with sesame oil, red chillies and black pepper. It was simple yet so tasty.
Veg Malaysian noodles sure were amazing ?. Flat noodles tossed in sesame oil, chillis, black pepper and veggies. They were even better than the chicken ones we tried ?!
The dessert Choco pops is sure delicious!
Overall, a good place to try various flavors of Chinese cuisine.

Whenever I crave for Chinese or similar foods. Five Fat Monks is the name that pops up in my mind. This elegant restaurant offers you some of the best and authentic pan Asian cuisine.
Ambience
The ambience is quite charming. Interiors done very nicely using wooden art. And the lightings compliment it completely. Also an outdoor seating for people who love to dine under the open sky.
A bar section specially curated to serve cool and refreshing mocktails.
Beverages
Watermelon Island - A simple n sweet mocktail with classic watermelon flavour.
Lemongrass - A fizzy lemongrass flavour infused drink. Quite refreshing.
Guava hit - A guava based drink with a bit dense consistency, salt n chilli mixture on the rim to give a spicy kick while sipping on this mocktail.
.
Food
Shanghai paneer - Pieces of paneer marinated in spice mixture and secret sauces. The paneer was bit dry and the sauces were not penetrated into the pieces.
Lemon chilli rice - This was my favourite dish. Nicely prepared with balanced amount of spicy and tangy taste. Just one bite of this will make you experience a rainbow of flavours.
Malaysian noodles - great taste, awesome flavours. That's all I would say. This doesn't need more appreciation
Pepper blast chicken - The best chicken dish of the day. Hot peppers and shredded chicken combined to form a bomb.
Phat nin noodles and Kung pao chicken were also good.
Fried choco pops - This dessert was an example of awesome creativity. Marie biscuits crushed and formed into small balls which are then fried and served with vanilla ice cream garnished with chocolate chips along with a bowl of hot chocolate sauce to pour over the ice cream.
I would definitely recommend to everyone reading this, try to visit here atleast once. I'm sure you will thank me later.

(Five Fat Monks) as the name suggests is one of its kind place that primarily serves you the authentic Asian Cuisine. Located at Balewadi high street, Baner which is considered as one of the prime locations in Pune. The overall ambiance (Interior as well as exteriors) of the restaurant has pretty good vibes. They have seating arrangements both indoor as well as outdoor with some cool music. You can come along and hang out with your family and friends anytime.
[Starting with mocktails]: I ordered 2 mocktails which were,
(Watermelon Mocktail) - a well-balanced drink that truly refreshes and has a tropically refreshing taste - its simply amazing.
(Guava Hit) - It's totally unique, a one of its kind mocktail that tastes beyond description. MUST TRY.
[Starters]
(Shanghai Panner) - Paneer being my favorite, had excellent flavor of spices and consistency which leaves nothing to be desired.
(Pepper Blast Chicken) - bound to please the most demanding of tastebuds. Perfectly Cooked Chicken which is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside.
(Veg Manchurian sizzler) - a sensational dish that always pleases. The veggies, Manchurian, Potato fries, and Rice was Delicious. The presentation showed off the sizzler in a very bright way.
(Wok - Bao with Corriender parsley sauce) - They have this amazing option where you can make your own wok choosing your favorite veggies, sauces and the choice of base. I had ordered the veg wok - Bao with Corriender parsley sauce. A taste you'll have to try to believe. you won't find any better Wok anywhere. MUST TRY.
[ Desserts ]
(Fried Choco Pops) - A dessert you'll never forget: vanilla ice cream served with the crispy balls made up of Marie biscuits, poured over with hot chocolate on the top. It's so good you'll want to skip dinner.
Overall, the staff is co-operative and humble while the service is the fastest I've seen till date, You definitely should visit this place and try their unique and lip-smacking dishes.

Five fat monks, a place where you can expect some great Pan Asian delicacies. (as the name suggests). Situated in hyped Balewadi Street, it can be considered as a very good option for dinner or lunch. The ambience is really simple and cosy with properly arranged indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were very helpful and Cooperative. The service was quick and the food served to us was fresh and hot.
Let's talk about food now. We started with some cocktails: Pina colada 2.0, Blue Ice and Guava Hit.
Pina colada was light and refreshing. Blue ice was sweet and prepared with ice cream. Quite amazing. I liked the Guava Hit as its spicy and refreshing at the same time.
Then the owner of the restaurant told us to try the veg Manchurian sizzlers which is yet to be added in the menu. The Sizzlers were delicious and yummy. Full Marks to the sizzlers.
Then we tried their unlimited endless menu. One veg and one non-veg. I liked their concept of the "Unlimited endless menu". You can have one rice or noodle with a gravy/ starter and one soup. And after finishing it you can also change the dishes ordered before. like if you have ordered rice earlier and now you can order noodles also. The concept is really amazing and innovative. Also, the quantity served is pretty good in one go itself.
Then we tried the "Make your own wok" just to satisfy our curious nature. Its basically a concept of making your own wok by selecting your own base, protein, veggie, sauce and garnishes. We ordered one veg wok consisting of Bao and veggies in sweet and sour sauce. And one non-veg wok with the base of rice with chicken cooked in oyster sauce. Both were delicious and worth trying.
The desserts were the stars of the meal. We tried Honey Noodle with ice cream and Fried Choco Bombs. Both were amazing. Fried Choco bombs were quite different from the regular chocolate dessert. Must-try.
Overall Rating :

This is a place that serves amazing street style Pan Asian Food. A small place with a good ambiance, indoor and outdoor seating. The vibe of the place is very positive.
When it comes to Oriental cuisine, the burst of flavors in the food is just mind blowing. So the food served here is typically like the proper street food.
Drinks that I had here were,
Watermelon drink, which was a refreshing drink, sweet and melony after which I had a drink named Guava Hit which actually will give you a hit after you drink. A drink which is the best for all the spicy drink lovers. There is a drink by the name Lemongrass and Ginger Lemonade which is extremely refreshing not too sweet but the flavors were outstanding.
Coming to the Food these are the dishes that I had here,
Veg Manchurian which was a really nice dish, flavorful and tasty. Spicy Basil Chicken was also served. This was an amazing dish having a really nice flavor of basil also was spicy, the chicken was tender and cooked well, crisp and juicy. The next dish was the Bao Wow Schezwan Paneer, a bao preparation which has schezwan paneer as the filling. Quite flavorful and crispy. Then we jumped to the main course in which we had Zen Hen Goes Green which had a rice preparation with a green chicken gravy, which was my favorite of all. Then we had the Devine Soy, which had a red gravy that was served over crispy noodles. All the flavors balanced and the taste was also very pleasing. I had always hear about burnt garlic noodles, but here I had the Burnt Chilly Garlic Chicken Noodles which was a kind of Indian street style Chinese, full of amazing flavors and spiciness.
We then had the dessert course in which we had crispy noodles with ice cream and Fried Choco Bombs from which I liked the Fried Choco Bombs, served with ice cream and chocolate sauce.
In a conclusion if you are looking for a place to have some Asian street food this is the place you can drop by.
