It is a small water reservoir building across Thenpennai River, which is running almost all of the year. This dam helpful for former's of this locality. This dam ensures and help to maintain good ground water level. Which is essential for irrigation. Nice place to spend time, it's not a that much famous and bigger. It's medium in size.
