My introduction of this doctor was as renowned psychiatrist in Mumbai area and if such is the case, than I pray to God that no Mumbaikar suffer from any psychiatric issues ever. When i informed him our inabilities to continue treatment in Masina Hospital, Byculla (5 days billed approx. 45k), I was told to move my relative to G T Hospital (govt. hospital), where gentleman already holds position in psychiatric department. As we mentioned his reference for admission in G T Hospital , they refused to admit our relative (giving baseless reasons as admission is not required and patient can be managed through OPD, etc.) knowing that patient needs a treatment (as he was given shocks in Masina, then surely his condision must be serious). I later realised they were trying to send us back to Masina Hospital as we were left with no options since they denied admission. But, they failed as we didn't went back to Masina. Also, they charged us hefty hospital fees excluding cash amount which was collected by some agents (these agents accepts cash only) sitting outside the cabin of this gentleman. Hope other psychiatrist are not following his footsteps. Take care of your people, we don't have adequate care for metally challenged people.

This doctor has a very rude disposition, as a matter of fact, upon non consenting to his choice of treatment, doctor himself physically abused me. Can't patiently answer patient's queries and moreover laughs at the questions put forward. He fails to understand that his seniority in the field doesn't warrant his demeanor. There are many more doctors who could be a right fit for you instead. Less than 2 minutes into the clinic, doctor and his assistant were very quick to recommend the much refuted ECT treatment without any explaination of the treatment. As educated citizens, we have every right to know each bit of the treatment plan. At every moment, there is a faux urgency created by the doctor to admit the patient immediately. I would recommend you to not waste your time as well as money by visiting this otherwise acclaimed doctor whose practise seems to be only commercialized now.

Worst doctor in the world he recommends shock treatment when it's not that necessary. Just making money and nothing else. My brother was under his treatment for 3 years and his condition was getting worse and worse. I would not recommend anyone to go to him for treatment.
