The watchman over there knows the full history of the jail. Do hire him as your guide and he will give you all the information of this smartly designed jail by tipu to arrest the British Army men.

Very thoughtfully created prison. Actually prison is created in deep step. Originally British officer prisoners are handcuffs here in the prison depending upon their height. And prison made in a such a manner that cauvery river water flow in the prison and prisoners deep into water upto their neck upto certain hours. Very methodical way of tourcher the prisoners. Also safety point of view, design was made in such a manner that it is difficult to escape for the prisoners.
