This waterfall is not actually a waterfall its just a spring which is on karnataka goa border at chorla ghat. The view from this spring is mesmerizing and it is a must visit place for everyone visiting goa in monsoons. This place is like heaven during the monsoon season. I went along with my friends with royal enfield and avenger 220cc bike. So sure to go on a heavy bike or it is surely goining to get hot and ignition might fail. The place attracts a lot of crowd from both the states and usually crowded during monsoons. A nice place to visit with family and friends as well.

Charavane is one of the two cascading waterfalls in Goa (the other being Bamanbudo). It has multiple levels and you can stop at any one to enjoy the waters. It is predominantly a seasonal waterfall, which means you will have to visit in the months of July, August and maybe early September for the best experience. The rains bring a lot of water to these forests and there are streams formed everywhere; even the villages turn lush green and the temperatures drop.
It will take you about 45 min of trek to reach from the village. If you ask any local in the village they will direct you. They will also tell you about a gigantic mango tree which is one of the indicators that you are on the right path. It is thrice the size of an average mango tree. There are 2 to 3 stream crossings on the way depending on the route you take. If the currents are strong (due to heavy rain), you may need a rope.
I had visited it during the beginning of August 2019 when Goa was under red alert. It was pouring heavy and the waterfall was at its liveliest. It was wet, cold and beautiful. We also to a walk deeper into the forest behind Charavane falls. It's an unbeaten path yet very scenic.
