In few years it is so sure that this pond may not exist there. The pond area is gradually encroached. For all the non drinking purposes in the entire Trivandrum district, I have heard that this pond water has been supplied. Those people who farm fish in their houses can collect the feed (the algae matter) for it, from this pond.
Sati chechi has a thattukada close to the pond. Thanks to her for all the hot dosas and sambar..?

A walkway is being built around it, I believe it's almost complete. It's a great place for an evening stroll, but the lake has deteriorated a lot. It's restoration and beautification should be prioritized higher.
