The bathroom was shared between the rooms. There was no hot water. The owner lady said, 'It's not that cold outside so there's no need for hot water'. The charger sockets were locked somehow so we could not charge our phones. There was no trash can / dust bin in our room. The hosts were unapologetic and rude.

people who manages it, are unethical.. they won't help you at all. I asked Bijoy for give invoice of my stay, so that I could reimburse from company... He harassed me so hard, that I could not be able to reimburse... He keep delaying since 3 months... In the end company put that stay on me.. there is another instance that my friend forgot licence in his room.. &Bijoy didn't bother to send it back by courier.. my friend keep requesting him for his license... So guy my submission is not to stay in his guest houses. - Casa Maria Homestay & Santa Maria Homestay...

The owner of Casa Maria Homestay, Shangumukham, Thiruvananthapuram is Making me fool from past 3 months, not providing me my driving licence back by courier... I know it's my mistake that i forgot my license during checkout with him. Even he didn't remember to give me back. But he can provide me back with courier facilities and all, i had provided him all details of residential and all. Also i told him that i will pay courier charges... But from past 3 months, he is making me fool that he had sent, and will provide courier details and all... All lie... Now he tells me to pay courier charges in advance.... I told i had given u courier charges in advance, in fact some tip also if you had told me this before only... So last week i gave him 1 star on trip advisor because of his lies and unsound behaviour... Now he threatens me to remove that review , otherwise he will not send me my license .. What a shame to Hospitality industry if this kind of people have this kind of behaviour... More lies like he also told me that he hadn't have my license, than he says 1st pay advance money, than say to remove review.

Comfortable bed, very close to the airport and 5 mins walkable distance to the beach. nicely decorated with all basic amenities, Lovely people excellent breakfast.

I stayed here in December 2018 and it was my first time in India (and solo travelling). I arrived at Casa Maria straight from the airport and Aleena and Bijoy were so welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was really good. The room was nice and clean. It was a relaxing place to stay and catch up on jetlag as I immersed myself into a new country. They gave me tips on where to go next as I didn’t have a plan, and Bijoy drove me to my next hostel in Varkala so I could take photos on the way! Thank you guys xoxo
