Brown Town is a unit of Paragon Restaurant, a well known food service chain of Kerala that is known for its great food and hospitality. Our hosts in Calicut, knowing our fondness for Continental food, insisted that we visit here to dine, and dine we did.
First of all, Brown Town at Kotooly is built differently from the other outlets of Paragon. The place is more casual, with seating laid out in a L shaped layout and a bakery counter taking the central place.
The service was warm and friendly, as it usually is at most Paragon outlets. We ordered Spicy Potato wedges, Chicken BBQ Wings, Shepherds Pie, Chicken Lasagne , Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Steak with Mushroom sauce, a Bison Loaf, Pasta, an Iced Latte, Masala tea, a Kombucha and the signature drink of Paragon, the Mint Lime, which is my personal favourite.
Each one of us tried a little bit of everything, and I can say without any hesitation that the food there is amazing. Even something like a grilled sandwich is done to perfection. The Shepherds Pie, though, could do with some improvements. I am not saying that it wasn't good. It's just that I am used to a much nicer flavour at home.
Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

We visited this place in the afternoon around 3. Place well maintained and clean. Good staff.
You have decent amount of parking. Honey cake was good. Pineapple Tarte was sweet but yummy. Shakes were also tasty.

My experience with this Café dates back to the time it started. I had almost every dish on their menu, so I think I'm eligible for a holistic review. I have tried almost every big brand pizza, but I prefer this Café's pizza. The beef steak is outstanding and, yeah, my favourite beverage is Mocha. Once, I ordered lasagna and felt personally that there was a room for improvement. Overall, if you're a person who enjoys your own company or wish to have a continental cuisine, this place is highly recommended.

Bagna cauda prawns were amazing but pretty expensive (480Rs for 4 tiger prawns, though). Soup and desserts were great, too. Staff were friendly, but it gets crowded at peak hours.

Visited multiple times in this beautifull restaurant, which is located near thondayad. I loved their pizzas. Full house and peri peri hawaiyian are my favourite. Also tried their lassagne and cakes. Food is awesome, ambience also good.
Previously the parking were bit congested recently they have opened a new parking area. Overall recommended for pizza and cake lovers.
