The place is beautiful. It's an off-road drive uphill. The last 4km road is very bad, even for bikers. It is steep at places with large gorges in between. Don't even consider during rainy days. The view points are awesome though.
There's a checkpost just before you start the climb. Don't forget to collect the phone number of the check post guy. Coz he locks the gate in case he needs to relieve himself. ? He takes some money too. Not sure if that's even govt approved.
The TEMPLE is OPEN ONLY ON SATURDAY.

We visited this temple on 24th June 2023 in Hyundai grandi10 from Bangalore.
It's one day trip from Bangalore. Temple is situated in forest area and need to take permission from forest gaurds at the gate and paid Rs. 100 rupees.
Temple opens only on Saturday (9 am to 3 pm). Beautiful place surrounded by greenary.
Roads are in good condition upto forest check post. After check post 4KM off roading need to be done. Any car could do this off roading easily. Just drive slowly on muddy path.
Temple: Bilikal means "White granite stone". Lord Ranganath Swami carved on this big rock and got prasadam from the temple which was really tastey.
