This is my native place, but felt like there should be some activity(boating, trekking)kind of stuff here for tourists who come from long distances. In my childhood, there used to be pedal boating here. But now we are lacking it. Hope atleast now our government should think of this.

This lake has a great historical significance, it was built under the regime of Ganapati deva of the Kakatiya dynasty. The government has planned to make this lake the largest bio diversity park under the scheme HRIDAY Putting all of that aside, this place is just serene. The temple nearby with the choirs, The cool breeze over the lake, The lustful greenery and the hills nearby, it's just so peaceful and calm. It's a great place to spend the evening with the family or to go on a trek or walk with friends in the afternoon or to have a jog in the morning. It's just perfect.

One of the finest lakes I have seen. Cool breezes come here when we sit on the tank bund. We can experience Great views from the tank bund. There is Bhadrakali Temple on the bund. I love this place very much. Fishing also done here in this lake. Best place to spend time with our friends and family. ???????? Love this lake.
