Ballyhack Cottage is wonderful in every way and my best friend and I had such an enjoyable stay here! Every detail was taken care of, and the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. We arrived early in the morning, exhausted off of an overnight bus from Delhi, and we were greeted by the villa staff and guided up to the Cottage where coffee and a delicious, fresh breakfast were served. We enjoyed evenings by the fire, home cooked dinners served with love in the cottage, and afternoon tea in the room and on our terrace. The location is incredible, just up the hill from the Mall, and on the way up to the lovely Jakhu Hanumanji Temple. You will love the cottage and everything about staying here will enhance your experience in Shimla.

Stay at Bally hack was amazing. The cottage is beautiful with natural interiors with exotic aroma of cedar wood all around. 2 days spent in chestnut room was very comfortable and memorable. Staff is very cooperative. The cottage is located very near to Lakkar Bazaar and the Christ Church / Ridge / Mall Road. It is an uphill walk from these places to the cottage, but its all worth it. Hope to return back to Ballyhack... sometime... Strongly recommended.

Fantastic option....forget the crummy hotels and resorts. 5 min walking distance from the church and the hub of all activities in Shimla mall road... But ... In an island of peace and quiet. Excellent hospitality, excellent food, beautiful views, spic and span. Park the vehicle in the parking lot of the manin shimla road...ask them to send a taxi to bring u up yo the cottage with ur luggage. I could literally"kick" myself for not staying earlier at this property during previous visits. For extended / bigger groups.....best place to hire. Hire the entire property...u wont be disappointed.

The most aesthetic cottage in Shimla. It is situated just above the famous church on Mall Road. Amazing view of hills and the Shimla city can be observed from the property. also the breakfasts and dinner served are good. In all an excellent property to stay on visits.

The best property near The Mall, the property is from the British era and it's easily visible from the structure and the interior. The staff is friendly and supportive, go an extra mile to assist you. The breakfast was too good, just like mom made pranthas. Thakur ji was always there to assist with a smiling face and a small conversation with the lady was also exciting and friendly. This is gonna be my favourite place for stay whenever I plan a visit to Shimla
