Located right next to Salem-Bangalore highway. A good place for Kids with Nominal charges for Entry, Parking, Kids Activities and Boating. Has a huge parking space in front of it and even that fills up during weekends. Would suggest to visit in the evening. They have both Pedal and Motor Boat. They have a good amount of kids activities as well. This place has a good cover of grass and you can rest here for sometime. The best thing on the day we visited here is Cleanliness and Maintenance of this park. Can't see public littering. Definitely, I would suggest this place for 3-4 hours visit with Kids.

Avathanapatti lake is located 5 km away from Krishnagiri town…found on salem Bangalore national highways NH7…Also have children park… weather here is awesome in morning as well as in evening… it’s natural beauty located in Salem… opposite side on highway there is rocky hill which is also very beautiful…
