Visited this temple during the night of Maha Shivarathri and it was a peaceful evening. The area is huge so it does not look cramped even with a lot of people. The statues are beautifully carved and the display of the thousands of idols of Ganesha was wonderful to see. The sunset view from the top is beautiful. Must visit.

Huge premises with lots of open spaces. The arunachaleshwara temple is the highlight. The architecture of the temple is beyond words. No matter how hot it's outside, it's very cool inside the Arunachaleshwara temple. Definitely recommend to visit once.

Good place to visit with family and kids
You have 2 routes where you can go behind temple directly so you can avoid taking step
I would prefer if you are young then go via stares you can have more fun and enjoy nature
