This is a country side small eatery near poonjar, 15 mtrs on the bypass to parathanam / mundakkayam. Went in without much thought as we were hungry and came out uber satisfied.. Good porotta and chicken fry.. For the price , it's exemplary.. A special mention to the porotta which is not oily. ( To make porotta soft, most places add lots of oil , egg,and other gimmicks) Here it's crispy and not a bit of oil was in excess.. Tea they gave was also too good..very well made.. Met with the owner who's a cook by himself ( he was in kitchen). They have Been serving regular customers ( only few travellers like me find the shop) since 5 yrs.. You will have to park on roadside ( not much an issue as it's a less crowded road). Restaurant and mini kitchen seems clean and hygenic from what we can see .Overall it's a great place for good food if you're on the route.. There's not much fanfare and rush.. Does the job they are meant to and does it with sincerity and dedication. Worth every penny for the price.
