Ambukuthi Mala or Ambukuthy Hills is a mountain in the Wayanad district. It is 12 km from Sulthan Bathery and near Ambalavayal. Three pre-historic caves (Edakkal Caves) are located at a height of 1,000 metres on Ambukuthi mala.

Went camping there, it was an out of the world experience. We were above the clouds when we woke up to watch the sunrise.

The most adventures placeā¤. The other side of edakkal cave and little bit hard to be on the top of the hill. Fully adventures and nature friendly. Morning view was extraordinary. If any one is trying to visit here i request that dont spoil here by putting plastic or something. No restriction,no entry and no timing. The best place i ever visited in my whole life. Try to bring water and food because u will be tired after climbing the hill. But please dont put the waste there.

Outstanding experience of high altitude.
One of the ideal place for trekking.
This place connects Lord Rama, a Hindu legend from Ramayana as it says that an arrow shot by Rama hit this high hill came all the way from Northern India. It is said that the last picture in this review is the mark left by the arrow while hitting the mountain.
