Love these guys! One of the best ?
I went for a business meet, but also was with my wife so we stayed as a couple too. The team at Altair is fantastic. Due to being a boutique hotel, they are able to provide individual attention and care to all the guests. The infrastructure is pretty good, the food is delicious. The environment and vibes are fantastic. Interiors are great!
Rooms are neat and clean, hygenic.
During our stay, Koel, Subhodeep, Deebakar and Srimanta treated us very well. Everytime we entered or left the hotel, we were greeted with warmth and smiles, from guards, to reception to food managers!
Speaking of food managers, the entire team (I forgot their names, unfortunately, sorry guys!) managing the breakfast was awesome. They take care of everything, everyone. They will immediately reach out to help if they think you are struggling or confused (which can happen, due to their delicious breakfast buffet ?).
We stayed at other places after Altair, as we had to go to different parts of Kolkata, and can easily say this is one of the best hotels in kolkata. Love these guys.
They've got an infinity pool, and jacuzzi. Make sure to enjoy that. Also, go to terrace at 21st floor!

Worst experience ever. can't believe we were asked to check out in the middle of the night just because we had a visiting guest come to over and their policy does not allow guests to enter their premises. we were threatened by the security and were asked to vacate immediately. this was not informed in prior to us. across the 1000s of hotel stays I've had this is the worst and I don't think I'll have a more terrible experience ever.
folks who are new to Kolkata now know which hotel to stay away from.
the person who asked us to leave was Ms. Raya from the reception. she had a very rude tone and was very unwelcoming

A nice hotel lacated on the 19th floor in Salt Lake Kolkata. Limited rooms, comfortable with basic amenities. Staff is courteous. Restaurant located on 20th floor has memorabilia of old Indian movies displayed on the walls. Gym on 20th floor. Infinity pool and jacuzzi on 21st floor. Conveniently located

There were no one to carry luggage from the parking, bathroom didn't have division so the water flooded after a bath, there was no comoensation after was shifted to a smaller room for bathroom issue, there was no bedside table, no stirrer, no room slippers, had only 1 egg counter in entire breakfast buffe. Too expensive rooms but very poor service, super disappointing experience ?
