One of the best "Pice Hotels" in Kolkata. Just go there and enjoy authentic bengali food with seasonal Sabji and Authentic Fish Menu. Loved it.

This is not a restaurant. It's one of those small traditional food outlets, which are on the verge of extinction in most big Indian cities. In Kolkata, these kind of outlets have been known as Pice Hotels. No fancy seating, no proper cutlery. Just the basics in place. However, when you look beyond that, the quality of food is outstanding, and the pricing is of the 90s (At least, that's what we thought). The preparations are as authentic as it gets, and so is the presentation. If you are planning a break from the fine-dining experience, and want to lay your hands on the real machher jhol-bhat, this nondescript Bengali food outlet in CID Road, near Park Circus, can be a great option.

I used to go there when my daughter studied in lady brabourne college near park circus. Such a nice place and their food is just wow.. I still remember the boy named Uttam.. Such nice boy....
