Abheda Mahal is a very lovely sightseeing place in Kota. There is a pond of lotus flowers here, which looks very attractive when viewed from above. There are many rabbits here, which people play with and take photos with them. There is also boating facility for which Rs 20 per person was charged. A small canteen is running inside where tea and biscuits are also available. A very low entry fee is also charged here. There is also proper arrangement of parking.

Abhera wetland located behind the Abheda Palace is a vast wetland. This is mostly a secluded place but is disturbed by villagers' open defecation activities and cattles grazing. A huge diversity of water birds is found here which Bird Watchers can enjoy during any season of the year. Its a nice place to bring kids to inculcate bird watching hobbies into them. Here Wild animals can be seen roaming during evening or early morning. Wild Boar, Wolf have been seen a few times. Also you have to be careful around this area as there's the Military Firing Range nearby and any unknown metallic object can be a explosive. So its better to avoid them.
